My Plantain Pottage Recipe
So guys, I've been having cravings for pottage since a long while now. I decided to prepare it the unorthodox way by using plantain. This post isn't going to be based on the nutritional values of plantain so I'm going to be skipping the vitamin A,C information part.

Ingredients
*2 Onion bulbs
*a sizeable amount of prawn
*Plantain - ripe and unripe
*a small size carrot
*Green Pepper
*Green peas
*Palm oil
*salt
*seasoning
*pumpkin leaves
*Pepper
Method
*Cut the plantain into small round sizes. No ish with the shape just that's how I like mine to be.
*Put in a clean pot and boil
*while you are at that, grate the Pepper, slice the green Pepper and dice the carrots as well as the onions
*When the plantain is boiled, pour the grated Pepper, diced green Pepper and carrot.
*Add the prawns. I used prawns because it gives food a very interesting taste. Add the green peas as well.
*Add Salt and seasoning
* Then the palm oil
*Cover and add a little water then leave to boil for 5-6minutes
*Add the pumpkin leaves. Cover and leave to boil for 2minutes max.
* Turn off the heat
Then... Your plantain pottage is ready!
Can be served With beef, chicken or fish.
