Music Review: No longer Slaves By Bethel Music

Has there ever been a time in your life when a song just keeps coming to your heart? You make efforts to get your mind off it but alas! You can't find the remote to your heart's playlist.

I had seen a review of this song on myglowingscenes and it caught my attention. I have always known the song but to me, it was just another theme song my school fellowship usually sang at the end of each service. The lyrics never meant anything to me.
But something happened. My heart caught a revelation of this song. It was like all I needed to live. Like God himself reminding me of my true identity. In this love affair I'm not Yoruba. I am a child of God!
The song very much reminds me of John8:36. I am free indeed! How liberating! It got to a part that I had to cry, OK that line was

You spilt the sea so I could walk right through them
My fears were drown in perfect love.
I am sure you could associate with my joy if you've ever had to be afraid in your life. I mean, the society always try to funkify fear by giving it posh names like. Kini kon phobia. Hydrophobia, claustrophobia and the likes but this song ministers faith to it's hearers. A good break from all this fearful and insecure songs that's making waves now.
No longer slaves by Bethel music, enjoy the lyrics.

You unravel me with a melody
You surround me with a song
Of deliverance from my enemies
'Til all my fears are gone
[2x]
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
From my mother's womb
You have chosen me
Love has called my name
I've been born again
Into your family
Your blood flows through my veins
[4x]
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a child of God
I am surrounded
By the arms of the father
I am surrounded
By songs of deliverance
We've been liberated
From our bondage
We're the sons and the daughters
Let us sing our freedom
You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
My fears were drowned in perfect love
You rescued me
And I could stand and sing
I am a child of God...
You split the sea
So I could walk right through it
You drowned my fears in perfect love
You rescued me
And I will stand and sing
I am a child of God
Yes, I am
I am a child of God
I am a child of God
Yes, I am
I am a child of God
Full of faith
Yes, I am a child of God
I am a child of God
[3x]
I'm no longer a slave to fear
I am a chid of God
